After the Firefox logo was revamped in 2017, a Thunderbird contributor filed a [ticket on Bugzilla](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1404648) suggesting to follow Firefox' lead and redesign the Thunderbird logo according to the new Photon Design guidelines. Funnily, this coincided with our own experiments on how Thunderbird's logo could be like so we joined the conversation on Bugzilla. We want to thank the great support we got from Ryan Sipes, Thunderbird's Community Manager, who helped facilitate communication with the Thunderbird Community. The new logo will appear in Thunderbird 60.

## Usability Study
Thunderbird was the first project we conducted a Usability Study on. This was possible due to Renata joining our team recently and expanding upon the services Ura offers support. Renata conducted user interviews during [Open Source Conference Albania (OSCAL)](https://osc.al) 2018. The tests were done with 5 testers from different backgrounds, asked to accomplish 9 different tasks. [You can read the final Thunderbid Usability Study here](https://github.com/uracreative/works/raw/master/Thunderbird/Thunderbird%20Usability%20Study.pdf).

After our first Usability Study for Thunderbird, we put these lessons into use and optimized the process in which we would conduct Usability Research for I2P. Renata, our Usability Researcher interviewed ten (10) I2P Users (that's twice as many as in our [Thunderbird Study](/2018/07/05/thunderbird-style-guide)) throughout local events in Albania and Kosovo. The study focused on I2P for Windows and Linux operating systems, asking users to complete 5 major tasks in I2P and additionally also another optional task.

At <strongstyle="color: #3399d4;">Ura we have been gaining a lot from the Free Software & Open Source communities.
It might be almost cheesy, but we wouldn’t be here without the great support of various communities.

Having said that, we want to give back as well, so we are introducing <strongstyle="color: #3399d4;">Logobridge, a collection of unused logo proposals
over the past months and years, which are getting dusty already with no one using them.
Use them as a placeholder for your project or as a template for your upcoming logo.

All logos are in the <strongstyle="color: #3399d4;">Public Domain, so you are free to do whatever you want with it (commercially as well).
They are also created with <strongstyle="color: #3399d4;">Inkscape, which is Free & Open Source Software.

It’s a great way to kick off your open source project when you need to gather something quickly.

This project has been made possible by our kind supporters on <strongstyle="color: #3399d4;"><ahref="https://www.patreon.com/ura">Patreon. Become a patron and pledge so we can add more logos here!
